Subway: L train to Dekalb Avenue
Buses: B13 & B38

Come join us this Sunday for “An Easier, Softer Way”, our new Agnostic & Secular Silent Meditation Meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous in Bushwick.

Format:
10-minute free-form/unguided silent meditation
(i.e., no “suggestions” on how to meditate are given in advance)
Round-robin shares around the room
No opening or closing group prayers during the meeting

This group of A.A. will attempt to maintain a tradition of free expression, and conduct a meeting where alcoholics may feel free to express any doubts or disbeliefs they may have, and to share their own personal form of spiritual experience, their search for it, or their rejection of it. We do not endorse or oppose any form of religion or atheism. Our only wish is to assure suffering alcoholics that they can find sobriety in A.A. without having to accept anyone else’s beliefs or having to deny their own.

WHMC is a Wheelchair Accessible facility.

This meeting is “closed”, meaning only A.A. members and anyone who has a desire to stop drinking may attend.

Alcoholics all faiths, beliefs, or non-beliefs, are welcome here!
